Do you work directly with insurance companies and loss adjusters?
Yes. On fire, flood, escape of water and impact claims we act as a single accountable contractor, liaising with your insurer and loss adjuster from the first survey through to sign-off, with itemised schedules and progress reporting throughout.
Do I have to use the builder my insurer recommends?
No. As the policyholder you have the right to choose your own contractor for reinstatement work. Kingsleigh Homes can be appointed directly and will work alongside your insurer and loss adjuster to manage the claim end to end.
What areas do you cover?
We are based in Taunton and cover Somerset, Devon and the wider South West, including Wellington, Bridgwater, Tiverton, Yeovil, Wells, Minehead, Exeter, Honiton, Sidmouth, Dulverton and the surrounding towns.
What types of work do you take on?

Yes. We are led by a member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), are FMB approved and Checkatrade verified, carry £5m public liability cover, and our trade network is CHAS Elite and SafeContractor accredited and fully insured.
How quickly can you respond after fire or flood damage?
We can attend to make the property safe and begin drying and strip-out quickly, then manage the full reinstatement so families get back into their homes as soon as possible.
